Students may want to buy their books to build their personal library. Can they purchase the rental book at the end of the semester?

Textbook rental has proven to be the most economical way for providing students with one of the most valuable tools for their education. Nationally students spend close to $500 per semester on books while the rental fee at this time is only $100.00. Students may purchase and keep any rental text. A discount is given when a student wishes to keep their rental text.

Rental books are not returned once the adoption is made and no notice will be sent about the return of textbooks.

How do I get a desk copy?

Forms for requesting a desk copy are available from the Departmental Book Coordinator.

Publisher Returns of unsold text.
To receive credit for unsold texts we adhere to the publisher's return guidelines based on dates determined by the publisher. During the semester the Bookstore will send a notice to the Departmental Book Coordinator and to all subscribers notifying faculty of books being returned to the publisher or wholesaler. If you have not gotten to the supplemental material in your class, the Bookstore will keep enough copies to meet student needs.
Please let us know if you still need this material for your students.
