Student Software Licenses

(Please note that student software licenses are special offers from the company on select products that are provided at a greatly reduced price over the Suggested Retail Price and even the Suggested Academic Price).

Adobe Software Products are now available to Appalachian students, faculty and staff for personal use.

Microsoft Product are available to Appalachian students as well as Appalachian faculty and staff and requires signing a Microsoft License Agreement.

The university also provides both Adobe and Microsoft software for faculty and staff to perform their work at the university and at home through a university owned license. The at home Microsoft software for faculty and staff has only a nominal cost. Technical Support Services maanages the software licenses.

A student needs to present an ASU Identification Card to purchase.  If you are an off campus student the Bookstore will work with you to certify you are taking an ASU course and have a valid ASU email username.

Please note these licenses for Adobe and Microsoft are not upgradeable.  If you wish to have a new version of the software you must make a new purchase when a newer version is available.
